  1. How many years have you been quilting?  About eight years 
  2. What motivated you to start quilting?  I wanted to try to do Free Motion Machine Quilting so I made a simple quilt top and the rest has been history 
  3. Where have you traveled in your quilting teaching career?  Mostly in California, but I do have a quilt hanging in Costa Rica, will be teaching this summer in Sisters Oregon for their big show, Arizona, and most of the quilt markets.  
  4. What is the most, unusual,   Staring a career as a quilt maker.  frightening,  Almost forgot to show up to a Quilt Guild for the Program and Workshop I was scheduled to present. funny,  Raffling the shirt off my back in Houston at International Quilt Market as a prize to go with my first line of fabric.  frustrating  -where does all the time in every day go?  experience you have had in your quilting career?
  5. Who is your favorite author?  Gary Larson – The Far Side 
  6. What is the last book you read or are reading?  my own “Making Waves… the Adventures of a Surf Quilter” 
  7. What is your birth order, only child, first, second, third, or ??  Only Kid 
  8. Where did you grow up?  I have not yet, but I have lived on the Central Coast of California for most of my years. 
  9. Where did you go to college?  California and Oregon 
  10. Do you have children – grandchildren?  Two Kids, six year old son and four year old daughter 
  11. Do you have any pets?  A cat that thinks he is a dog, my neighbor’s dog, and a bunch of salt water fish 
  12. What is your favorite food?  Beer 
  13. Do you have any other hobbies besides quilting?  Surfing, Skateboarding, Guitar and I love to draw. 
  14. What would be on your “bucket list” (like the movie) if you could do anything and money was no object?  Personally thank every person who has helped me become who I am, My Family, a few great teachers, my friends, any person who has encouraged me to push forward as an artist, God. There are a few songs I wish I could master on the guitar. I would also like one great wave to ride, maybe I could even go out that way. Can I ask for more time?
