Mark is coming!!

We are so excited to have Mark Lipinski, Editor-in-Chief for the Quilter’s Home Magazine, as a member of our faculty in January 2008. This will be his first teaching venue in Southern California and he will be our featured speaker on Friday evening. Tickets are still available.
We filmed a video at Houston Quilt Market where he talked about his new line of fabric coming out soon from Troy Fabrics. Mark was also just featured in a newspaper article in the Washington Post.

Class supply list? Carolyn is trying to get confirmation from Mark (me too – no answer from either phone calls or emails) for the Ribbons & Geisha class on Friday. The way the supply list reads seems 28 yards of fabric needed for wallhanging. Also catalog does not have pic (not a mystery)of quilt project – to help get an idea what I should get for fabrics. Regrettably I do not have the Spring 2006 issue of Fabric Trends magazine that the article refers to. Not sure if this was the right class for me… hoping Mark or Carolyn get the “true” supply list/pic so quilters will not be surprised or disappointed. HELP :~) Looking forward to meeting other Mark fans.

I totally agree! I’m excited about this class, but can’t begin to pick fabric when the list doesn’t make sense. I have the magazine referenced and can’t believe it is the right reference. I didn’t think this was supposed to be a mystery class. I emailed Mark and ROAD for clarification and no response.
